Objectives:-
  • To act as a micro finance institution for the groups (particularly of women groups), federations of groups, Self Help Promoting Institutions, NGOs and Small MFIs registered as primary cooperative under UttrakhandSelf Reliant Cooperative Act 2003.
  • To function as State Capacity building institution for the groups/partner NGOs/ Federations of groups/ SHPIs and other partner agencies.
  • To act as a State level nodal agency for groups promotion by accreditation and grading of NGOs/ Federations/SHPIs and concerned MFIs.
  • To act as a competitor in Micro-finance sector to protect the interest of groups & its’ members other related stakeholders.
  • To maintain a database of all the groups and related NGOs /Federations/SHPIs and other concerned institutions for devising effective development programmesand policies.
  • To Coordinate the efforts of various Dept./ Institutions or agencies (State Level/ National/ International level)which are involved in group promotion and to create a common agenda for livelihood promotion.
  • * To work with other development organizations like NABARD/ SIDBI/ World Bank, etc. For achieving the desired objectives
  • Goals:-
  • To achieve Objecive-1: Microfinance : To provide finance facilities to Individual SMEs. related to Matured groups for setting up income generating activities
  • To provide Bulk Lending to accredited & reputed and good performing SHPI/NGOs/small MFIs for further financing to groups.
  • To provide bulk lending as soft loan to Federations of groups for setting up common service centre /mother units.
  • To provide concessional funding to member farmers to remove middleman or Adhtiyas.
  • To mobilize financial resources from National /International level institutions from their specific lending programs.
  • To act as a facilitator for financial products such as insurance, pension, etc. of various financial companies for the benefits of informal groups & their members.
